The Doctoral Program of Mathematics Education (DPME) at Pasca Sarjana Unesa, focuses its objectives to produce graduates who can become Senior Academician of Mathematics Education, Researcher in Mathematics Education, Developer and Consultant of Mathematics Education who have the following objectives.
  1. Able to develop knowledge of mathematics education that is related to technology and professional practice creatively. (Professional Accomplishment; PEO-1)
  1. Able to solve mathematics education problems by using transdisciplinary approach in national and international level. (Academic Accomplishment; PEO-2)
  1. Having professional responsibility to manage the given task. (General or Social Accomplishment; PEO-3)
These objectives strongly support the national competences framework for Doctoral Programme and are consistent with the vision of PPs Unesa and Unesa. Such a consistency is realized by producing graduates with a strong ability to develop knowledge in the field of Mathematics Education and solving problem through several approach. PEO-1 and PEO-2 are the objectives which primarily focuses on Academic Accomplishment. While PEO-3 is related to the improvements on skill and competence. Table 1 indicates the relationship between the objectives of the Doctoral Programme in Mathematics and the 9th level (the level for Doctoral Programme) of the National Qualification Framework
